  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

American Buttercream

Instructions

  1. In the bowl of a stand mixer add in your butter and sugar and cream together for at least 2 minutes.
  2. Add in your eggs, vanilla and almond extract and mix until completely combined.
  3. Add in your flour, baking powder, salt and mix for at least 2 minutes until a dough is formed.
  4. Roll out your dough on a lightly floured surface and cut the shapes you want using cooking cutters. Place the cookies on a lined baking tray and leave enough space in between them to expand in the oven.
