This Salted Caramel Sauce is perfect to use and combine it with various desserts on my website, like the No-Bake Salted Caramel Cheesecake, ice-cream or even coffee!


This Salted Caramel Sauce can be stored in the fridge for about 2 weeks in a jar or in an airtight container. You can heat it in the microwave for a couple of seconds before using to reach the liquid consistency.

This is the ultimate homemade Salted Caramel Sauce recipe! It’s super rich, it’s sweet, it’s salty and just tastes incredible!


  • 1 cup sugar
  • 30ml water
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp sea salt


  1. In a sauce pan add sugar and water on medium heat.
  2. Stir the sugar until it turns into a golden shade.
  3. Remove from the heat and  add in heavy cream and mix well.
  4. Then add in butter and mix until well incorporated.
  5. Lastly add the salt, if you want the caramel more salty add a bit more salt.
  6. Pour the sauce in a jar and let it cool at room temperature for about 2 hours before serving.
