Description

These pancakes are fluffy, moist and that creamy cream cheese glaze its just delicious.

Ingredients

Pancakes

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp cocoa powder
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp red gel food colouring

Glaze

  • 120gr cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Pancakes: In a mixing bowl add your eggs and sugar and mix until nice and frothy.
  2. Add your milk, oil, baking powder and salt. Mix until incorporated.
  3. Lastly add your flour, cocoa and mix. Add your food colouring and mix until everything is well combined.
  4. Pour your batter into a squeeze bottle to make it easier to pour and avoid having any mess.
  5. Place a non-stick pan on medium and grease it either with some butter or non-stick cooking spray. Let it heat for 1-2 minutes before pouring the batter.
  6. Start squeezing your bottle in the middle of the pan to create a circular pancake. Then let 1 side of the pancake to bake for about a minute or until you see big bubbles on top. When you see bubbles formed its a sign that you need to flip your pancakes and then let them cook for another 1 minute. Right after your pancakes are cooked remove from the pan.
  7. Glaze: In another bowl add your cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk & vanilla. Mix until your glaze is smooth and shining.
  8. Pour your glaze over your pancakes and serve right away!!!
