These Oatmeal cookies are the absolute treat for your kids and family as they are a healthier substitute to store bought cookies. They are bursting flavours and they will impress your loved ones.

You can also be a bit creative and add your own twist by adding chocolate chips and nuts. These will give your cookies even more depth and texture.

You can store these cookies in an airtight container at room temperature in order to stay crispy and fresh. They last up to 5 days, if there are any left after the first day.

Description

Are you looking for a quick and simple cookie recipe thats also healthy? Then i have the perfect oatmeal cookie recipe for you! These cookies are heavenly good and super simple to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 100gr unsalted Butter, room temperature
  • 150gr Brown Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 100gr all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 125gr Oats

Instructions

  1. In a bowl add in your butter and sugar and mix using an electric hand mixer until creamy.
  2. Add in your egg and vanilla and mix until combined.
  3. Add in your flour, salt, cinnamon and baking powder and mix fully.
  4. Now add in your oats and fold them in the mixture using a spatula.
  5. Divide the mixture in 12 cookie balls and place them on a lined baking tray. (Leave enough distance between the cookies because they will slightly expand in the oven)
  6. Bake them for 12-15 minutes at 165°C, until golden brown on top.
  7. Let them cool for about 15 minutes in the tray and serve right away.
