NYC Chocolate Chip Cookies are by far one of my favourite desserts that I make at home, and everyone loves them. They have the perfect gooey middle texture & the absolute perfect crunchy exterior. These cookies are filled with chocolate chips both dark and white chips.

You can even prepare these with your family as a weekend activity. You can also add in the cookies different nuts or more chocolate chips, to make them even more delicious.

Another way to serve them can be drizzling on top melted chocolate to make them look even more fancy.

NYC Chocolate Chip Cookies are best served right away, otherwise they last at room temperature for about 3 days in an airtight container. You can also place them in the freezer for up to a month and bake them anytime you want. But if you bake them right out of the freezer make sure you bake them a couple of minutes more as they will need more time to defrost.

Description

These NYC Chocolate Chip Cookies have the perfect gooey middle texture & the absolute crunchy exterior. These cookies are filled with chocolate chips both dark and white chips.Make sure to give these incredible cookies try, as I am sure they will become your new favourite.

Ingredients

  • 250 gr melted butter
  • 160gr sugar
  • 160gr brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • 500gr all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 400gr chocolate chips (of your choice)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl add in your butter and sugars, mix until fully incorporated.
  2. Add in your eggs and vanilla (if using) and mix until nice and creamy.
  3. Then add in your dry ingredients like salt, baking soda, baking powder, flour and mix until a dough is formed (don’t over mix, mix just until ingredients come together).
  4. Then add in your chocolate chips and fold them in the mixture using a spatula.
  5. Divide your cookie mixture in 12 cookie balls of 125gr each. Place them on a tray and chill for at least 90 minutes before baking. (If your are going to freeze the cookies, then place them in the fridge for an hour so they can harden up and then place either in an air-tight container or in a zip-lag bag in the freezer.)
  6. Bake the cookies for 17-18 minuets until golden brown on top. Make sure to let them cool for at least 15 minutes on the tray before serving so they will not fall apart.
