Nutella Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies are a MUST-TRY. They are crunchy outside, gooey inside and filled with Nutella. Make sure try these.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 150gr chocolate chips
  • 200gr Nutella
  • 50gr walnuts pieces (optional)

Instructions

  1. On a lined with parchment paper tray, place 1 tsp of Nutella and repeat 24 times.
  2. Place in the freezer for at lest 30 minutes before starting to make the dough.
  3. In a bowl add in your butter, sugar, brown sugar and mix using an electric hand mixer until nice and creamy or mix using a spatula.
  4. Add in your egg and vanilla and mix.
  5. Add in your flour, cornstarch, baking soda and salt. Mix until well incorporated (for at least 2 minutes).
  6. Fold in the mixture the chocolate chips and walnuts if using any.
  7. Prepare your baking tray and line with parchment paper.
  8. In your hand take about 1 tbsp of the mixture and press it until it becomes a thin layer of cookie dough. Then add in one Nutella drop and seal the one edge of the dough with the other so the Nutella will be covered.
  9. Roll that piece of dough in a ball and place on the tray.
  10. Repeat until you run out of dough.
  11. Chill the cookie balls for 30 minutes and then bake for 15-18 minutes at 160°C until golden brown.
