This is one of my favourite combinations!! Also the cream can be made all in chocolate or all of it vanilla. However I advice you to try half and half first because the suit together very well!

It’s better if you make this OREO Ice Box Cake in advance since it can last for a few days without losing its creaminess or flavour. It’s convenient also when you have friends at your  house and you want something done fast without lots of mess!

I love making this recipe during Summer time when its hot and you need something cold and refreshing!

This ice-box cake lasts about 3 days in the fridge covered in plastic wrap or in an airtight container.

Description

This recipe is so delicious and so easy to make, you only need 5 ingredients that you definitely have in your pantry!!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 can sweet condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup nutella
  • 35-40 OREO cookies
  • 1 tsp vanilla (optional)
  • Crushed or mini OREO for top decor

Instructions

  1. Firstly in a big bowl add your cream, powdered sugar, sweet condensed milk & vanilla. Mix this using a hand mixer until stiff peaks.
  2. Split your mixture into two bowls. Set one of them to the side and to the other one add your nutella. Mix this using a hand mixer & scrape the sides of the bowl to make sure that everything is well combined.
  3. In a rectangular glass container add a layer of OREO cookies to start the base of your dessert.
  4. Then add on top a layer of the chocolate mixture and smooth it evenly to the sides. **Save some of this mixture to make swirls on top afterwards**
  5. Place another layer of OREO cookies.
  6. Lastly pour over your plain vanilla mixture and smooth it out.
  7. Place small drops of the chocolate mixture you’ve saved before and make swirls using a toothpick.
  8. You can decorate this with mini or normal size Oreo’s or even some crushed ones!
  9. Cover it with plastic wrap and chill it for 2-3 hours! After it’s been chilled you can serve it immediately!
