It’s a must-try recipe as it’s so delicious and so simple to make!
As you all know bananas and toffee is a killing combination therefore this dessert it’s at a completely different level.

You can serve this with some whipped cream on the side and cocoa dust on top. Your family and friends will love this as it looks really elegant and it has such a rich texture.

Banoffee pie needs to be stored in the fridge in an airtight container or covered in plastic wrap. It lasts for about 4-5 days.

Description

This is a Quick & Easy Banoffee Pie recipe that everyone can make to impress their family and friends!!

Ingredients

Cookie base

  • 300 gr. cookies of your liking
  • 100 gr. unsalted butter (melted)

Filling

  • 800 gr. dulce de leche
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch of salt

Whipped cream topping

  • 500 gr. Whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp. powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla extract

+ 3 bananas, ripe

Instructions

  1. Cookie Base: In a bowl add your crushed cookies and melted butter and mix until combined.
  2. Pour the cookie mixture in your pie form and press it to the bottom and edges using the bottom of a glass.
  3. Filling: In a microwave safe bowl add your dulce de leche, vanilla and salt and microwave it until melted and smooth.
  4. Pour the filling on your cookie crust and smooth it evenly.
  5. Cut your bananas thinly into slices and put them on top of the filling.
  6. Whipped cream: In a bowl mix your cream, powdered sugar and vanilla using a hand mixer until stiff peaks.
  7. Pour the whipped cream over your pie and smooth it out. You can also dust some cocoa powder on top.
  8. Chill for 2-3 hours. Enjoy!
