They start off with a fluffy and sweet homemade dough that you will then combine with a cinnamon & sugar filling. Also, then its topped with a creamy cream cheese glaze that makes these cinnamon rolls even more tasty & delicious.

These cinnamon rolls are packed with cinnamon sugar and they are perfectly soaked with yummy cream cheese frosting!

They are a fantastic morning or afternoon snack for everyone! It’s the absolute dessert to impress your family & friends during birthday parties, dine or even to show off your skills to your coo-workers.

These Cinnamon Rolls can be stored in an airtight container for up to 5 days or in the fridge covered with plastic wrap. This will help them stay moist and fluffy without hardening. You can also microwave it for 30 seconds before serving for better results.

Description

These are the fluffiest Cinnamon Rolls ever! Super soft, fluffy and delicious! After trying this recipe you will never go back to another one!

Ingredients

Dough

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups whole milk, warm to the touch
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 pack active dry yeast
  • 5 cups flour, divided (split in 500gr + 150gr)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp salt

Filling

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 4 tbsp ground cinnamon

Glaze

  • 60gr cheese, softened
  • 30gr butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Dough: In a big mixing bowl or in the bow of a stand mixer, add in your melted butter, warm milk, sugar & give them a gentle mix.
  2. Add in your yeast & let it activate for 5 minutes covered with plastic wrap.
  3. Add 500gr of flour & mix well.
  4. Cover the dough & let it rest for 1 hour.
  5. Uncover the dough & add in the rest of the flour, salt & baking powder. Mix well.
  6. Knead your dough using your hands and then roll it out into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
  7. Brush the melted butter onto the dough and then sprinkle the cinnamon mixed with sugar.
  8. Start rolling the dough and then cut it into pieces of about 3cm each  & place them in a greased tin.
  9. Let them rise for 30-45 more minutes and then Bake for 25-30 minutes at 175°C.
  10. Glaze: In a bowl mix in your cream cheese, melted butter, milk, vanilla & powdered sugar until a smooth glaze is formed.
  11. Drizzle the glaze over your rolls and serve.
