About Me!

Hi, thanks for stopping by, my name is Anna Kosti and I am 18 years old. I live in Larnaca, Cyprus, with my family and I am still going to high school. I fell in love with baking since the age of 9! I started with simple recipes to making complicated and fascinating desserts. I am planning to join university next year, overseas, to become a professional pastry chef.

This is the Best and Easiest American buttercream recipe you’ve ever tried! It’s smooth & tasty and can be used in cupcakes, cakes and even cookies.

It just takes under 10 minutes to prepare and then you are ready to decorate. You can colour it using gel food colouring and add it into a piping bag to make it more fancy.

This recipe is enough to decorate 12 cupcakes however if you want to make a bigger batch to decorate a cake you need to make double this recipe. It’s a very easy recipe to multiply and tastes amazing!

The buttercream can be stored in the fridge and lasts more than 2 weeks. It needs to be placed in an airtight container or covered in plastic wrap. You need to remove it from the fridge at least 2-3 hour before using to soften up.

You can also add different flavours as well as paint it with gel food colouring of your choice.
