These cookies can also be made in advanced and freeze so you can bake as many as you want any time you wan.

You can also be a bit more fancy and add other type of chocolate chips or nuts to give another new type of texture.

These cookies need to be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.

Description

They are crispy outside and soft inside with secret bites of chocolate chips. Make sure to give this recipe a try and I am sure that this will be your new favourite cookie.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/3 cup melted unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup chocolate chip cookies

Instructions

  1. In a bowl add the melted butter, white sugar and brown sugar. Mix and then add the eggs.
  2. Add vanilla extract and mix until combined for about a minute using a whisk.
  3. Add salt, baking powder, cocoa and flour and mix until a thick batter is formed using a spatula.
  4. Add in the chocolate chips and fold them using a spatula until incorporated.
  5. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and scoop out your cookies using an ice cream scooper (about 1 tbsp each).
  6. Bake for 10 minutes at 175°C.
